He also directed that the corrective action taken by the traffic department at 40 potential accident sites should be verified within 15 days by constituting a committee of officers.
He directed that the Basti Development Authority and the Municipality should select 05 places for parking vehicles from Old Basti to Shastri Chowk. Along with this, post barricading at identified parking places near the town club and GIC and deploy staff. The police department will also deploy two soldiers so that parking can be started actively there. In the next month, the municipality will start regular vehicle parking by getting these two places tendered.
