Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission: Keep Medical Records Safe On Abha App, Learn How To Use
A new version of the 'Ayushman Bharat Health Account' mobile application has been released under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission scheme, a digital scheme of health facilities. In the new version, it has been released mobile application named 'Abha' mobile application i.e. Ayushman Bharat Health Account. This app has been made more practical and a new User Interface (UI) has been added to improve usability.
Actually, the Aura app was earlier known as NDHM (National Digital Health Mission) Health Records App, which is available on Google Play Store. It has been downloaded more than four lakh times. The upgraded version of Aura has a new User Interface (UI) and other practical features added to it, so that people can view their health records anytime and anywhere. Existing Aura app users can update to the new version instead of the old one.
how to use
Anyone can create an aura address (username@abdm) on the Aura mobile application
Can associate an easy-to-remember username with a 14 digit aura number
--This number app will generate automatically
Through the mobile application, the user can add the health records prepared in the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) based health facility and view it on his smartphone
This application also has the facility that the health related records which are kept in ABDM based health lockers can also be added to it in digital form, such as clinical reports, prescription drug, covin vaccination certificate, etc.
All these can be connected through ABDM network with the approval of the respective user
Features of the new version
There are new practical features in the Aura mobile application, such as editing profile, linking and un-linking Aura number (14 digit) with Aura address. Apart from this, QR code scanning facilities at the ABDM based Facilitation Counter for face authentication, fingerprint, log-in by biometric and registration will also be started soon.
Medical records will be safe
Giving information about the Abha mobile app, Dr. RS Sharma, CEO, National Health Authority said, “The Aura app will facilitate citizens to keep their overall health records. Patients can access their health records in seconds with the help of their Aura Address. Due to this, they will get a lot of convenience. It will provide them complete details of their health at one place and help them to share their health records anytime, anywhere. With this, there will be no possibility of his record being lost. Digitization of data sharing will ensure better treatment decision making and continuing care.”
iOS version to launch soon
Ayushman Bharat Health Account (Abha) Mobile App (earlier known as NHDM Health Records or PHR App) can be downloaded from Google Play Store or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in. Can be downloaded by clicking on ndhm.phr. The iOS version of Aura Mobile will be launched soon.
