BHU Presented the book "Jain Art and Aesthetic" to the Vice Chancellor of
BHU : Today at the residence of the Vice Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University, National Tagore Fellow and B. H. U. Former Professor of Emeritus Prof. Maruti Nandan Tiwari and Professor of Art History of the Faculty of Visual Arts, Dr. Shanti Swaroop Sinha presented his book "Jain Art and Aesthetics" to the Vice Chancellor, in which a detailed discussion of Jain art and culture is inclusive of Indian art and culture. Swaroop has been done in the background as well as the process of exchange taking place in the entire Indian culture and art has also been outlined. This book has also been awarded the prestigious Hemchandracharya Award.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the view of Indian art and culture in its entirety and also stressed its need.
