Prof. Singh started his contribution as Professor in this department in the year 2006 and till date is the first person to reach the post of Vice-Chancellor of this department as Professor.
For the first time, Prof. Rajesh Singh took over as the Vice-Chancellor of Purnia University, Bihar in March 2018 and again in September 2020 started his work as the Vice Chancellor of Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Gorakhpur University, where Prof. Singh is developing the university rapidly. .
