17th National Convention of Surgeons to Operate Telescopically in Children
The 17th National Convention of Surgeons who operated telescopically in children began today at Malviya Manu Anushilan Kendra, BHU. In the beginning of the program, there was an in-depth discussion about the new dimension of operation with the telescopic method in the children and in this discussion, Dr Rasik Shah, who came from Mumbai, gave information about the equipment required to operate the telescopic method in the children. . Dr. Amar Shah from Ahmedabad gave information about the modalities of conducting telescopic method in small body of children. Dr Sripati from Chennai apprised about the new challenges related to the operation of robots in children.
In the second session, there was an in-depth discussion about the diseases related to urinary tract with binoculars in children in which Dr. Vijay Kundan of Delhi told about the operation of binocular method and Dr. Meenu Bajpai of AIIMS Delhi told about the creation of new urinary tract. Dr Sameer Trivedi from Varanasi gave information about the use of Botox injection in disorders related to the functioning of the urinary sac.
In the third session, there was a discussion on diseases related to liver and biliary diseases, in which Dr. Kishore Panjwani from Agra told about the telescopic method of operation of liver cysts in children. Gave information related to the operation from Jabalpur Dr. Vikesh Agrawal threw light about the methods of operation with binoculars for congenital diseases related to the anus in children.
After this, Doctor Kirti Kumar of Jodhpur gave information about the use of dye in children during the operation. Dr Shilpa Sharma, who came from Delhi, informed about the currently available guidelines related to telescopic operation in children. Dr Dasmeet Singh from Pune informed about the other challenges related to the operation of binoculars in children. In the convention, there was also a discussion about telescopic operations related to chest disease in children, in which mainly Dr. Rajendra Sao ji of Nagpur, Dr. Ravi Kanojia of Chandigarh and Dr. Ramesh of Bangalore participated. Dr. Ravi Kanojia informed about the operation and its complications in case of non-formation of food pipe in children of Chandigarh. Dr. Ramesh discussed in detail about the techniques related to the use of binoculars in chest operation.
In the last session of the program a discussion on various topics was organized with all the experts.
The program was inaugurated in the evening in which Prof VK Shukla, Vice Chancellor of BeachU was the chief guest. Dean of Medicine Prof SK Singh, Medical Superintendent of Sir Sunder Lal Hospital Prof KK Gupta and all office bearers of PESI were prominently present in the program. The welcome was done by Prof. Ajay Narayan Gangopadhyay. On this occasion, Prof VK Shukla spoke about the importance of using binoculars and robots in operations in the present times and stressed on the possibilities of its use in children. The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Vaibhav Pandey.
