UP Election Result 2022: BJP's lead in four states

Lucknow : In the first two hours of counting of votes for the Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Manipur and Goa assembly election results, the trends are coming out, in which the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is in four states and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab. Counting of votes for the assembly elections in five states began at 8 am on Thursday amid tight security arrangements. Counting of votes is underway for the Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur assembly elections as well as the by-elections to the Majuli assembly seat of Assam.

Counting of votes for 690 assembly seats in five states

According to the Election Commission, counting of votes is going on for 690 assembly seats. For which 671 counting observers, 130 police observers and 10 special observers have been deployed. All eyes are on the five states, including Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, where the counting of votes is going on for the assembly elections.

Who will be UP?

Counting of votes for the 18th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh has started for 403 seats in the Vidhan Sabha. It has started with the postal ballot, in which the competition between BJP and Samajwadi Party is visible.
