THEME OF THE CONCLAVE IS RENEWABLE ENERGY & SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
· TO BRAINSTORM WAYS TO ADDRESS GLOBAL ENERGY DILEMMA
VARANASI: Banaras Hindu University will be organizing a two-day National Energy Conclave on 26th & 27th March, 2022 to brainstorm effective ways to address the global energy dilemma. The event being hosted at the Department of Economics, BHU, is one of the premier events of the varsity in the field of Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development, which is also the broad theme of the conclave.
The primary goal of the conclave is to promote Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development techniques in wake of rising global energy concerns, especially in light of the present global energy crisis and current market situation. Addressing the curtain raiser press conference of the conclave, Prof. Nidhi Sharma, organizer of the energy conclave said that the Conclave will provide an opportunity for student-scholar delegates to discuss current global energy concerns and sustainable development, and at the same time, this event will educate students on becoming tomorrow’s world energy leaders. Prof. B. V. Singh, Head, Department of Economics, said the conclave will host a variety of activities, including paper presentations, expert panel discussions, alumni sessions, article writing competitions, poster painting competitions, model exhibitions, and more. Renowned experts from the field of energy from all over the country will be participating in the Energy conclave. The details of few of them are given below:
