Varanasi. Remote access½ My LoFT APP (My Library on Finger Tips) was launched for accessing e-resources in Medical Science Library even outside the University. With this effort, doctors and students can enhance medical quality and research wherever they are, anytime outside the university using the library's e-resources.
Director of the institute, Professor BR Mittal inaugurated the above facility today. Through this facility, 244+ Medical (International Journal) facility being provided by ERMED (National Medical Library, New Delhi) will also be benefited. The Director of the Institute stressed on the need to digitize the services of the library and strengthen the library services in the near future.
Dean Faculty of Medicine and Ayurveda Professor SK Singh and Professor KN Dwivedi Institute of Medical Sciences, Library Incharge Professor Sanjeev K. Singh, Dr. Vivekananda Jain from Central Library and other doctors and students were present in the program. Joint Registrar Dr. Sanjay Kumar Yadav was also present. The program was conducted with the help of librarians Dr. Kiran Chaturvedi and Mr. Amit Shukla.
