BHU : The Institute of Management Studies organised “Ran_Sangram 2022”, their Annual Management fest on March 13th and 14th 2022, after a gap of two years owing to the pandemic-induced disruption. “Kalpavriksha” , a students' club of the Institute successfully organised the two-day program in the hybrid mode to facilitate participation across the nation.
The day one of the event started with a run-a-thon across the campus and the inaugural session.It was followed by Finalysis -to test the financial analysis abilities of the participants, Mystery Quiz involving questions from all rounds of life and Pro writers, an impromptu story writing competition. Several events like E -sports, 60 seconds to fame, don’t ask Questions and Beg borrow steal were conducted alongside.
The day two of the event was buzzing with enthusiasm with competitions like Dataviz for young data analysts and Ad mad show for budding marketers and entrepreneurs. Various informal events like MCU fandom Quiz, 60 seconds to fame and E Sports were organized to encourage interaction among students and maintain the high energy on campus.
The day witnessed overwhelming response from the students present in the campus and students attending the event virtually. The events saw participation from a number of reputed management schools and universities including several IIMs , IITs, NIIT Trichy, Tapmi, TISS, and Wellingkar to name a few. Students from across the nation showcased their talents and enthusiastically participated in the event.
The Closing Ceremony was held on March 14th, at 3:00 p.m, as scheduled. It witnessed the distribution of prizes to the winners of all the respective events. The winners were rewarded with cash prizes, certificates and vouchers from the various business houses sponsoring the event. PindBalluchi was the title sponsor and other sponsors includedElearnmarkets, Sofit, O’barbaand Kingdom of momos.
On a concluding note, the Director, Prof. S K Dubey sir and the Dean and Head, Prof. H P Mathur sir, congratulated the students for the smooth and successful conduction of event. The Club Coordinator of Kalpavriksha, Dr. Anindita Chakraborty addressed the students and expressed her appreciation for the students for taking the initiative to coordinate all the events in both the physical and the online mode and seamlessly organising this program on a grand scale.
For the students of the existing batches at the Institute of management studies, this event was the first national level event organised by them. It is a matter of pride for them to continue the legacy of the institute by organising the sixth edition of the annual management fest of the institute and every student is thrilled to have been a part of this program. The event turned out to be a grand success with the enthusiastic participation and hard work of the esteemed faculty members and of all the students at the institute.
