Ten-day voter awareness, mural painting and sand art workshop started in Avivi

Ayodhya. Under the joint aegis of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University's Fine Arts and Economics and Rural Development Department, ten-day voter awareness and mural painting and sand art with the aim of motivating more people to vote in the ongoing general election 2022 on Thursday. The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Ravi Shankar Singh, Vice Chancellor of the University and Chief Guest, District Magistrate Ayodhya, Nitish Kumar. Through this workshop, people will be made aware of various artistic depiction methods for voting. Presiding over the program, Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Ravi Shankar Singh said that every vote in democracy is a brick of development for the country. We make a significant contribution in the selection of excellent candidates by exercising our wide franchise, who implement various government schemes for the development of their area. That's why everyone must exercise their right to vote. In the program, Vice Chancellor Prof. Singh appreciated the teachers and students of Fine Arts Department and Economics and Rural Development Department for the ten-day voting awareness program.
Chief guest in the program, District Magistrate Ayodhya Nitish Kumar while appreciating the members of the committee and the participating students for organizing the voting awareness drawing workshop said that they should be motivated to do such public welfare works. He said that every citizen of the country must vote. A strong government will be formed along with maximum people's participation. As a special guest, Chief Development Officer Ayodhya Anita Yadav while praising the efforts of the students for voter awareness said that today it is the basic responsibility of all of us in the society to go to the polling station and exercise our fundamental right and build the nation. The convener of the workshop, Dr. Sarita Dwivedi said that in the ten-day workshop, poster competition and awareness program, voting-based rangoli competition, wall painting and one-day sand arts workshop would be organized by the students. The departmental teachers will be completed with the help of Reema Singh, Sarita Singh, Dr. Alka Srivastava, Ashish Prajapati and departmental students. Head of Department of Economics and Rural Development and Coordinator of Fine Arts, Prof. Vinod Kumar Srivastava informed that this voter awareness program will be organized from February 18 to February 26 with the financial support of the district administration. On February 26, a sand arts workshop will be organized at Guptarghat. In this event, about 150 students are expected to participate in the voting awareness program along with departmental teachers, members of the organizing committee.
A large number of students including Prof. Ashutosh Sinha, Prof. Mridula Mishra, Dr. Priya Kumari, Dr. Sharmistha Ghosh, Kavita Pathak, Ashish Prajapati, Ganesh Shankar Srivastava, Shiv Shankar were present on this occasion.
